Not Your Mama’s Health Class
Modern Sexual Education & Female Embodiment

Join Laurel Odom of Sol Luna Ayurveda & Erica Snyder of Ama to Prana for a 6-week course geared toward 11-15 year olds and their guardian (mom, dad, aunt, grandma, sister…whoever is a guiding force in their reproductive & sexual education path).
Each live, interactive session is approximately 2.5 hours and will focus on mental, physical, spiritual & anatomical knowledge for the modern teen – it’s the sex ed class we wish we would have gotten!
All classes will be held in Zoom from 6:30pm – 9:00pm Eastern // 3:30pm – 6:00pm Pacific.

May 26, 2021 | Clear Out the Toxins | This class focuses on self care practices that are designed to help balance hormones, remove toxins from the body, and regulate stress. |
June 2, 2021 | Female Anatomy & the Moon | We’re taking a look at female anatomy this week & how to align your body with the energies of the seasons and moon. |
June 9, 2021 | Healthy Sex & Pleasure | Shame, pleasure, consent & boundaries are the focus this week. Let’s talk about healthy relationships and sexual energy. |
June 16, 2021 | Coming of Age: Our Lineage & Our Future | Our closing class looks at our lineage, the role we play in it & experience a coming of age ceremony for the teens. A truly unique experience for mamas & daughters alike. |

Laurel Odom, of Sol Luna Ayurveda, is a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist, Pancha Karma Specialist & E-RYT500 with a background in Clinical Nutrition. Laurel’s own healing journey has been strongly influenced by her teen years & the themes of feminine embodiment & healthy sensuality. She is beyond excited to offer a real-deal, feminine-based approach to sexual education & self-care practices ~ if only she had received this information when she was a young teen! Her mission is to help all women learn about their bodies, needs & desires based on their own personal experience so as to make choices from a more empowered, embodied & loving place.

Erica Snyder, Ayurvedic Health Counselor and founder of Ama to Prana, is excited to be creating and teaching the health class she wishes she would have gotten & will share with her 3 kiddos when the time comes. As a former high school teacher and professional development educator, she has decades of experience with the target age groups and hopes that all of the participants find this class mind-blowingly informative, completely practical, utterly useful & empowering all while having the support of other fantastic females.
